fortune keeper

Awhile back I started playing with coin purse clips. I’ve collected all these small pieces of vintage fabric that really need to be shown off and this seemed like the perfect way to do it. I used some TIMTEX heavy, thick craft interfacing for the fabric shaping. This stuff rocks and I realty want to do more projects with it.

Originally, I wanted to make some mini books, but that never quite worked out. I ended up making some of these in the process as I was getting to know the material. Now I keep one of these little pocketbooks with me at all times, just in case I end up  eating Chinese. It’s worked out quite well, as you can see from my little collection.

Enjoy.

What a fabulous idea! I used to keep fortunes in my wallet, but I think this is much better. Amazing fabric too!
