all purpose pretty
I love the idea of those little metal frames that are turning up everywhere in jewelry and crafting. I bought some awhile back on Etsy and still covet the beauty. I wanted an inexpensive version to play with in paper crafting so I made this little frame. I designed it to cut pretty small and still retain the detail. I cut mine at 2 1/2 inches, which is pretty small. It was easy to separate from the cutting sheet and still had all the detail. I consider it a success. It was also my ice breaker for inkscape.
I made the frame with the beach in mind. Yes, she is still calling to me. I hope to get up there in the next week or so. Nothing says summer to me like some sand between the toes. But you could use this frame for a lot of different things.
If you make anything with this frame, please post a pic over at the flickr gallery. I’d love to see what you make.
