Paper Pumpkin

Submitted by sheila on Tuesday, 9 September 200810 Comments

I read about cutting your own shaped vases out of books in a Country Living magazine. I got to thinking about how I could incorporate the idea to fit different shapes and viola…a pumpkin came to mind. I used a pumpkin shape to cut through the pages with a blade. It took about half an hour but I think it was the perfect use for this Star Trek book. Sorry Captain.

I also tried stamping the edges but it didn’t give the effect I’d hoped for. I think I’ll make a couple more in different sizes and ink the edges.

I love Halloween.

Enjoy.
