crochet necklaces
This is a very simple but fancy looking crochet necklace. I made it by stringing the beads on the crochet thread just like I showed with this technique. I wasn’t sure how many I would need, so I just put on a bunch and then some.
It’s a very easy pattern just using a single crochet and then a single crochet with a bead, alternating both until you get the length you want. I left some extra at the start for sew on my shell button and then made a loop at the end and joining it to the single crochet for the button hole. I can’t wait to make one with little pearls.

I made this fun necklace by laying out the bead pattern first and then stringing them on the thread using the same technique. The necklace is made with single crochet and then adding beads to the single crochet. Just make sure you count in between beads if you want it to be even. I finished it by joining the crochet together and then sliding the big bead on. I added a few beads to the bottom to finish the piece.
I’ve worn this necklace quite a bit and every time I do it make me smile. It’s just so funky and colorful. So break out the bead stash and have at it.
Enjoy.
