My Swap Offering

August 25th, 2011 in paper by 1 Comment

I’ve packed my goodies up for the Vintage Garden Matchbox Swap. I ended up with two partners and I couldn’t be more thrilled. One of the perks of hosting.

So pretty in person. I had fun stamping on the vintage style ledger paper. Birds, butterflies, nests, and frames from some Prima stamps. Then I pained them with a gold glaze. The glaze gave the paper a golden sheen that reminds me of a late August sun. I haven’t done much like that with paper and have always wanted to. I couldn’t be happier with the end results, other than the fact that I put too much in the boxes.

I can live with that.

So pretty! I love the bird, butterfly, and flowers and am impressed with how clean the cutting is! (Just got an eCraft and the humidity around here is giving me fits!)
