Lots and LOTS to talk about. But lets get down to the important stuff first. I joined Cerri’s Petit May Basket Swap over at Little Pink Studio. I was lucky enough to get Deb from Deb’s Vintage Soul as my partner. I absolutely love Deb’s design style and we have a lot in common when it comes to the type of bits we both love. We were exceptionally well suited partners. ;)
Deb sent me this adorable little peat pot basket with pretty lace and green tulle and a ton of this beautiful flower trim in a couple of different colors. I’ve never seen the stuff before and can’t wait to work with it. It’s very cool. She also sent a large piece of vintage fabric shown here in the background.
She also included some tiny porcelain busts. I have some great jewelry ideas for them.
Deb sent me a TON of brass stampings. A lot of them are nautical in theme which is so cool because I just returned from a cruise. She threw in a couple of larger Charlotte’s, which I have never had before. And look at those colored pearls! So much fun!
Along with the little peat basket, Deb sent this sailboat she made. It’s tucked into a dreamy heart. I love these and am so thrilled she sent me one. Check her blog for more info about them.
Everything in the swap was tucked in to soft organza bags or tied with organza ribbon. Deb was a great partner.
I made Deb this little basket out of scraps and bits. I’ll try and post info on how it’s made over the next couple of days. Warning: it’s kind of addictive!
