It’s no secret that I’m a fan of birds. I’ve been collecting bird things, including live ones in my yard, for some time now. I wanted to bring some of that bird-love inside so I made a pretty little hanging nest.
I found the little nest in the floral department of a craft store. I threaded a big eye needle with colored raffia and ribbon and wound it through the nest. I added some flowers and some decorative trim for hanging and topped it all off with a bow. I could see making just a bunch of these to cover the tree.
Alas, I’m already on to the next project.
Enjoy.

Wow!!! This is so much prettier than anything in the shops!!
Just wanted to thank you for the fabulous yo-yos and book pages that I won from you. The fabrics for the yo-yos are just perfect for my scrapping style.
Love the bird’s nest.
thanks again,
Chris
